Chartering Vessels with IOOC

We have had more than ten long term "charter party" contracts for vessels with Iranian Offshore Oil Company(IOOC) to date for offshore operation in Persian Gulf and Oman sea.

These contracts have included a diverse range of vessels such as Offshore Supply Vessels – transporting and storage of materials, equipment and personnel to, from and between offshore installations, Anchor Handling and Towing – handling anchors of offshore floating installations and/or towing operations.

Our latest contract in this business line is chartering a Fast Crew Boat dedicated to the personnel transfer in oil & gas platforms in Persian Gulf.

The scope of work was mechanical repair, replacement, maintenance , Painting & Blasting , Testing, Reporting & Material Purchasing Of Salman Complex ( 9 Platforms & 12 Bridges)

Salman is an old field in service since 1968 with about 1.6 billion barrels of recoverable reserves. It is currently estimated to hold more than 500 million barrels of oil. The platforms on the Salman oilfield are some of the biggest in the Persian Gulf with a capacity to produce 220,000 b/d of oil and associated products. They also include gas recovery facilities, which are being prepared for production.

Salmani is a shared field with the United Arab Emirates in the Persian Gulf, About 70% of the field belongs to Iran. The United Arab Emirates which calls it Abu al-Khosh on its side in Abu Dhabi has recovered 400 million barrels so far.
